ArtHouse develops and delivers bespoke, six-eight week, programmes facilitated by qualified artists and teachers that are accessible and ambitious. They give people the space to learn, to express themselves and to collaborate and build relationships in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
The ever-evolving range of mediums covers spray can painting and mural making, clay work, mosaics, analogue & digital photography, screen and alternative printmaking, drawing & painting, drama & movement work, collage making, sewing and installation-work.
Create
ArtHouse hosts up to 15 creative workshops within SHP hostels a week. Any individuals are welcome to join in and explore their creative dreams through a variety of materials and opportunities on offer. Our arts and well-being programme is designed to support our clients wider psychological and emotional needs as well as building a community sense of community through collaborative art making within the homes of our residents.
Showcase
It is crucial we give our clients equal opportunities, support and praise in order to share with the world their achievements. ArtHouse not only provides art workshops for our residents in-house but gives artists the chance to showcase some outstanding work within exhibitions across London.
Collaborate
From pottery and mosaics to spray painting and screen-printing; from theatre trips to drama workshops, there is something on offer for everyone. ArtHouse work alongside a versatile group of artist facilitators as well as partnering with some of London's leading arts and theatre companies to ensure we give our clients the best opportunities within the UK’s creative industries.
