Our Stories For Mental Health Awareness Week 2022

This years theme for MHAW is Loneliness

Social connection, friendship and community is paramount to achieving and sustaining positive mental health and overall quality of life.

One of the key positive outcomes for people we support through the Opportunities Programme is improved mental health.

Whilst many of the people we support face barriers trying to access the creative arts, culture and activities within the community, the Opportunities Programme offers people experiencing or at risk of homelessness to comfortably explore everything from sport to art to music and nature in a safe space to be curious, creative and social.

We believe that everyone deserves equal access to these core quality of life practices. Our work actively supports people to contribute and participate in the cultural and social activities of society.

Here are some stories that shine a light on our activities, client journeys and the experiences of some of our Programme leads and partners. Stay tuned for more stories over this week!
