‘Haircuts4Homeless’ Charity visits our Westminster Services
Last month the awesome ‘Haircuts4Homeless Team’ founded by hairdresser Stewart Roberts, came back to our Westminster Service to offer free haircuts to the residents.
Their visits to the hostel are very popular, and they have built up an excellent rapport with the residents.
We asked Stewart ‘what is your experience of visiting KG residents?’ his response was:
“Visiting King Georges is always emotional and inspiring. People’s hope and determination always comes through. The team at KG are always helpful and organised and the facilities are great. Our team always love attending and look forward to going again”
Jamie one of the residents who got their haircut that day, said of his haircut:
“I think they’re great, they always do my hair how I want it”

Stewart also does a fantastic podcast called ‘Hear me See me’ which features many of the unsung heroes who work, experience, and volunteer in the Homelessness Sector.
