ArtHouse Project x POTS - Disposable Camera Photography Course

ArtHouse Project has been working hard to keep our clients engaged and creatively stimulated throughout these difficult times. During lockdown, we partnered with @peopleofthestreets to provide an exciting disposable camera photography course to clients across SHP Services

The course has been extremely successful and the camera proved to be a powerful tool for our clients to use struggling with mental health. It gave them an initiative to go for walks, capture and explore new places and spaces, find topics for discussion and enjoy the fresh air.

In the past week @peopleofthestreets met with our photographers to showcase and reflect on the work they have created in house.

"I was struggling to go out because I have Agoraphobia. When lockdown happened I thought this was great for me but then I got a bit stuck. This course kickstarted me to leave and go outside. I went from here down to the common and around the gardens, it was really nice."

Over the next month we will be sharing the works of our photographers with you so watch this space!
